About Emily
Emily Giessmann was born in Fairfax and grew up in Leesburg, Virginia! Her first introduction to theatre was watching movie musicals with her mom and sister, and putting on puppet shows for the whole family. She is a 2025 graduate of DeSales University, earning a BA in Theatre with a concentration in Musical Theatre.
While attending she was able to broaden her horizons as a performer both onstage and off. She took on the role of education and marketing for her schools children production, Robin Hood, and has gained experience in leadership positions and community outreach. She can be located in the DC/metro area and New York City.
When Emily is not performing you can find her reading, crafting, baking, or playing with her childhood dog Lucky!
